About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lawn Care Specialist to join our team at J'aime Lawn Care. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients' lawns and outdoor spaces are well-maintained and look their best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Collaborate with our team to design and implement landscape construction projects, including planting trees, flowers, and shrubs.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Maintain our clients' lawns by removing weeds, pruning trees and plants, and trimming hedges to keep them looking neat and tidy.
  • Cut Grass: Operate lawn mowers and other equipment to cut grass and maintain our clients' lawns.
  • Rake and Collect Refuse: Remove debris and leaves from our clients' lawns and outdoor spaces.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist with the transportation and application of topsoil, mulch, and other materials to our clients' lawns and outdoor spaces.
  • Lay Sod or Seed: Install new sod or seed lawns for our clients, ensuring a lush and healthy appearance.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees in our clients' lawns and outdoor spaces.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Apply fertilizers to our clients' lawns to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Operate and maintain a variety of equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Tree Removal: Remove trees and branches from our clients' lawns and outdoor spaces.
Requirements
  • Criminal Record Check: A clean criminal record is required for this position.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Handling Heavy Loads: Ability to lift and move heavy loads, including equipment and materials.
  • Physically Demanding: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to pay attention to detail and ensure high-quality work.
  • Walking: Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
