Position OverviewThe role involves coordinating specific elements of an Operations Brand or Program to ensure alignment with Allergan's strategic objectives and business goals. The individual will support the Brand Director or Brand Manager by acting as the primary liaison for stakeholders across Commercial, R&D, S&T, Legal, Tax, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Manufacturing, and Third-Party Manufacturers (TPMs). Responsibilities include conducting global Brand/Product analysis, strategizing, overseeing long-range planning, and managing inventory to ensure compliance and accountability with Product Resource Managers (PRMs). The position also contributes to the formulation and execution of effective product strategies and Brand plans for product launches, site transfers, supply security, cost efficiencies, risk management, and lifecycle oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Director, lead assigned Operations Brand Program initiatives to facilitate timely decision-making that significantly influences Brand sales, supply assurance, and operational effectiveness. This may involve managing substantial capital/project expenditures and achieving significant cost savings.
- Collaborate with Product Supply Management (PSM) for negotiations and lead discussions for new contracts or extensions with TPMs, including service costs, project proposals, and additional charges.
- Identify and escalate issues that may jeopardize supply assurance. Collaborate with Allergan's cross-functional teams and TPMs to devise and implement mitigation strategies.
- Develop a comprehensive Brand plan, financial strategy, long-range plan, risk management approach, and lifecycle strategies, ensuring they align with Allergan's business objectives.
- Serve as the primary interface with Commercial teams to create and secure consensus on Brand/Product forecasts. Stay informed on internal and external factors affecting the Brand/Product(s).
- Assist the Brand Director or Brand Leader in managing the supply chain interface, acting as the central point of contact for stakeholders across various departments.
- Effectively communicate with all organizational levels, aiding the team in conveying a unified vision to cross-functional stakeholders to ensure clarity in roles, responsibilities, and issues.
- Oversee program activities to enhance operational performance and meet strategic business requirements while ensuring supply assurance.
- Manage lifecycle transitions that can significantly affect Brand sales, potentially overseeing substantial capital/project expenses and delivering considerable cost savings.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a Science-related field; an MBA or higher education is preferred but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Management, Product Development, or Financial Management.
- Demonstrated experience in leading effective teams and fostering collaboration across organizational boundaries.
- Proven track record as a collaborative team player.
- Exceptional presentation, oral, written, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities to achieve results.
- Proven capability to implement and influence large-scale change management initiatives.
- Familiarity with commercial processes and an understanding of the Product/Brand being managed is advantageous.
- Comprehension of core business processes.
- Ability to effectively interface in diverse cultural settings and with executive-level management.
