About the Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our hospital's linen supply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a supply of clean, sanitary linen for various hospital departments
  • Collect soiled linen from various hospital departments
  • Maintain the linen rooms in a clean, sanitary, safe and orderly manner in accordance with established procedures
  • Wash, dry, fold, sort, and label personal resident clothing
About You

We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:

  • Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience required
  • Knowledge of Infection Control procedures
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

This is a casual relief position, requiring flexibility to work various shifts.

Compensation and Incentives

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate of $20.13 - $21.69.
