Gypsum Board Production Specialist

CGC Inc. is seeking a skilled Board Production Operator (2 Line) for our gypsum manufacturing facility.
This is a permanent, full-time role that presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to showcase their expertise in a dynamic production environment within a prominent corporation.
Reporting to the Board Foreman, the Board Production Operator (2 Line) is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the Board Line.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring production targets are met while fostering a collaborative team atmosphere and maintaining safety and efficiency in the manufacturing process.
- The ideal candidate will undergo Common Core training and participate in the operator rate program. Board production personnel may also receive training as a Paperwell Operator, Mixer Operator, Knife Operator, and Take Off Operator.
- Contributing to the execution of USG Model Programs, Safety Protocols, VWIs/JSAs, and Standard Operating Procedures as necessary.
- Promoting personal safety and advocating for safety practices among team members.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Preferred experience in a manufacturing or mining setting
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A results-oriented individual who prioritizes safety and quality in all aspects of their work
Compensation - $29.02 per hour
Work Schedule - Continental rotating shifts
Compensation may vary based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
