Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Comfort Keepers Kelowna. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct specimen collection and ensure infection control
  • Monitor nutritional intake and vital signs
  • Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
  • Provide nursing services within defined scope of practice, based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • Fast-paced environment and repetitive tasks
  • Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, judgement, organized, and team player
Work Environment:
  • Home care and visiting care agency
  • Permanent position
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • English language
