We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at INDEMAND CARE HEALTHY AGENCY INC.

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality patient care, education, and support to individuals and their families. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Deliver safety and health education to individuals and their families, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
  • Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Monitor patient progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with healthcare teams as needed.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure as a practical nurse in the province/territory of work.
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work 32-40 hours per week.
