We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team at Tanx Transport Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation fleet, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate the activities of our truck drivers, ensuring they are aware of their schedules, routes, and delivery deadlines.
- Monitor and Report on the performance of our drivers, including their productivity, safety record, and adherence to company policies.
- Recommend Improvements to our transportation processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure Compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate Repairs and Maintenance of our fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are in good working condition.
- Requisition and Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support our operations.
Requirements:
- Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role
- Permanent employment
- 30 to 40 hours per week
- English as the primary language of communication
