Tanx Transport Inc. Truck Driver Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team at Tanx Transport Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation department, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate the activities of truck drivers and transportation staff to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Prepare and Review reports on transportation operations, including driver performance and vehicle maintenance.
  • Recommend Improvements to work methods and procedures to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure Compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Rentals of vehicles and equipment as needed.
  • Requisition and Order materials, equipment, and supplies as required.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Working Conditions:

  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
