About the Opportunity

The Nutrition and Food Services team at Nova Scotia Health is seeking a skilled Utility Worker to join their team. As a Utility Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the patient and retail food service setting.

Your key responsibilities will include preparing and serving meals and supplies to patients, residents, and staff, as well as cleaning and sanitizing patient trays and related equipment. You will also be responsible for supporting safe food handling procedures and providing overall service excellence.

  • Product/Food Preparation/Assembly and Service
  • Delivery and Collection
  • Food Handling
  • Food Safety and Sanitation

About You

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team. Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting is considered an asset.

Hours

  • Temporary, Full Time, 75 Hours Bi-Weekly
