Sessional Lecturer in English Studies

The Department of English within the College of Arts and Science, alongside the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning, is seeking applications for a Sessional Lecturer to instruct the following community-oriented courses during upcoming sessions:

Regular Session
Course Details: ENG (E11)

Literature and Composition:
Reading Culture

Course Format:
 This course will be conducted as an in-person lecture.

Course Schedule:
 Specific days and times will be established in collaboration with the selected candidate, based on program requirements. Availability is expected Monday to Friday, during standard business hours; evening or weekend sessions will require special approval.

Anticipated Enrollment Limit: 40

Location: Beauval, SK (approximately 3 hours north of Prince Albert, SK)

Required Qualifications: A graduate degree in English or a related field, along with relevant teaching or professional experience. Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit cultures, as well as the socio-economic and educational factors relevant to teaching these student populations.

A valid driver's license is necessary for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods will include additional days to account for preparation and grading time. Courses may be subject to cancellation due to insufficient enrollment.
