Job Title: Sessional Lecturer, Psychology, University of Saskatchewan
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Sessional Lecturer to teach in the Department of Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in psychology, as well as marking assignments and examinations, and supervising the work of marking assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate courses in psychology, including lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions.
- Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Mark assignments and examinations, and provide feedback to students.
- Supervise the work of marking assistants, as needed.
- Hold regular office hours to meet with students and provide support.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Experience teaching undergraduate courses in psychology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems and other educational technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field.
- Experience teaching online courses.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
