Job Description

We are seeking experienced Pipefitters/Plumbers of all skill levels to join our team of Mechanical professionals in a Mechanical Installation role. As a Pipefitter/Plumber Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:

  • Installing pipes, supports, and equipment according to project drawings
  • Reading and understanding project drawings, shop drawings, and verbal directions
  • Ordering materials and ensuring they are used for the correct application
  • Planning, executing, and supervising projects in a professional manner
  • Leading production and installation teams throughout project execution
  • Coordinating production and installation with clients and sub-trades
  • Troubleshooting problems and providing solutions or contacting the appropriate parties to resolve issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Functional knowledge of operations including process piping systems, steam, water, air, gas, sanitary, and hydraulics
  • Knowledge of Safety & Quality Codes relevant to pipe fabrication (B31.3, CSA Natural Gas and Propane Installations B149-15, 2020 Alberta Plumbing Code)
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, structural, and architectural drawings
  • Pipe fabrication and installation skills
  • Fine attention to detail
