Electrical Project Manager Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a top contracting management professional in the Hamilton area. We are looking for an experienced Intermediate level Electrical Project Manager to join our team immediately and thrive in a supportive environment that promotes growth and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend site visits and meetings to ensure project progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Review plans, specifications, project contracts, and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Take off and submit tenders to secure new projects and expand our client base.
  • Manage commercial and institutional projects from start-up to completion as a team.
  • Coordinate activity on sites to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Resolve site issues and develop solutions to on-site problems.
  • Maintain and adhere to construction schedules to meet deadlines and deliver results.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of Electrical contracting experience in the role of estimator, coordinator, or project manager.
  • Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with Accubid estimating software is an asset.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction plans.
  • Excellent reading and writing skills.
  • Well-organized with the ability to effectively set and manage schedules.
  • Resourceful, energetic, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong team player.
  • Driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites.
