Role Summary

As a Senior Consultant, Data Science at Project X Ltd., you will leverage your expertise in data analysis and interpretation to provide actionable insights to our clients.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions, applying your knowledge of computer science, statistics, and mathematics to analyze, process, and model data.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, project planning, and solutions design.
  2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
  3. Develop and optimize machine learning models using various techniques.
  4. Improve data collection procedures and pipelines to ensure data integrity.
  5. Productionalize data models with feedback loops to automate refinement processes.
  6. Develop project plans to establish workload expectations and schedules.
  7. Stay up-to-date with market trends and best practices in data science.
Requirements
  1. 7+ years of hands-on experience in data science.
  2. Solid Python and SQL development skills.
  3. Experience with natural language processing and large language models.
  4. Experience with machine learning and data science modules in Python, including NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, and Jupyter notebooks.
  5. Experience building recommendation engines.
  6. Experience working with machine learning engineers and operations teams to deploy and automate models.
  7. Understanding of deep learning frameworks, such as Keras, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
  8. Experience with NLP frameworks and libraries, including Gensim and SpaCy.
  9. Advanced degree in computer science, software engineering, business intelligence, data science, or a related field.
  10. Critical thinking capabilities and a consultative mindset.
Nice to Have
  1. Experience with A/B testing.
  2. Knowledge of cloud technology, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  3. BigQuery experience.
