Accounting Clerk Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team at Alberta Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing general ledgers, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transactions: Prepare and process financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Software: Maintain and update accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong accounting skills, including financial analysis and reporting. Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel.
