About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our AWS Kumo team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable cloud solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications that are secure, operationally sound, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable cloud solutions using AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and Kinesis.
  • Collaborate with our teams to deliver high-quality applications that meet customer needs.
  • Evaluate and evolve technology as the cloud environment evolves.
  • Develop and maintain code standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Mentor and coach other engineers to help them grow their skills.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Compensation

The base salary for this position ranges from $114,800/year up to $191,800/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
