Amazon's Utility Computing (UC) team is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Development Engineer to support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS.

Key Responsibilities

  1. You will design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable software systems.
  2. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cloud-based solutions.
  3. You will ensure high-quality code and adhere to best practices.
  4. You will collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions.
  5. You will stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends.
  6. You will contribute to the development of AWS services and features.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of professional software development experience

5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language

5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems

Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
