Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Manchu Wok. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of quality and customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management
- Develop and implement effective systems and procedures to manage restaurant operations, including inventory control, staff scheduling, and customer service standards.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business growth.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and train a team of staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Provide coaching and feedback to staff to help them develop their skills and achieve their full potential.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, including prompt and friendly service, accurate orders, and a clean and welcoming dining environment.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory and Supply Chain Management
- Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure that stock is maintained at optimal levels and that supplies are ordered in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure that we receive the best possible prices and service.
- Financial Management
- Manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Identify areas for cost savings and implement changes to drive business growth.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to stand for extended periods and work under pressure is essential.
