After School Childcare Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced After School Childcare Worker to join our team at Horry County Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing continuous supervision and interaction with children, planning and participating in activities, and ensuring the overall well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise children constantly, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist children with daily activities, such as homework and hygiene needs.
- Participate in planning and implementing activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and school administrators to ensure seamless transitions and coordination.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
- Certification in Red Cross first aid and CPR/AED.
The After School Childcare Worker will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional service to our students and families.
