Site Reliability Engineer

Procom is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join their team in the financial sector.

Job Overview:

This role involves designing, developing, and supporting technical solutions to automate complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement automated solutions for agent deployments.
  2. Contribute to automation policy, standards, and processes.
  3. Promote re-use and adoption of solutions across teams through demos and coaching.
  4. Ensure all automations comply with SLF security directives and policies.
  5. Develop automation playbooks and companion documentation to facilitate team understanding.
  6. Identify opportunities for automation and provide guidance on effective implementation.
  7. Educate others on automation tools and best practices.
  8. Maintain strict compliance with security and change management directives.
Required Skills:
  1. Passion for innovation and automation.
  2. 3-5 years' experience in automation development (Ansible specifically).
  3. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible, scripting, and Python.
  4. Hands-on coding experience in Java is a plus.
  5. Experience working in containers/Kubernetes.
  6. Understanding of monitoring and log ingestion tools.
  7. Solid business and technical acumen, with demonstrated agility in learning.
  8. Strong relationship management and consulting skills.
  9. Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Contract Details:

6-month initial contract, with potential extension.
