Recreation Attendant

The City of Ottawa's Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services department is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Recreation Attendant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for visitors to our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and assist customers in the use of facilities and sites
- Develop a working knowledge of departmental facilities, programs, and policies
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
- Completion of Grade 10
- Experience working with the public and providing service to customers
- Current Standard First Aid, CPR, and/or AED certificates
- AODA Customer Service/IASR Training
- A competitive hourly rate of $17.228
- A variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
