Recreation Attendant

The City of Ottawa's Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services department is seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Recreation Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and assisting the public's use of our facilities and sites, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience for all.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and assist the public's use of facilities and sites
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Develop a working knowledge of departmental facilities, programs, and policies
- Work effectively in a team setting and independently with minimal supervision
- Completion of Grade 10
- Experience working with the public and providing service to customers
- Current Standard First Aid, CPR, and/or AED certificates
- AODA Customer Service/IASR Training
- A competitive hourly rate of $17.228
- A variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
- The opportunity to work in a dynamic and inclusive environment
