The City of Ottawa's Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services department is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Recreation Attendant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and assisting the public's use of our facilities and sites, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience for all.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and assist the public's use of facilities and sites
- Develop a working knowledge of the department's facilities, programs, and policies
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
- Relate positively and effectively with a diverse range of people
- Completion of Grade 10
- Experience working with the public and providing service to customers
- Current Standard First Aid, CPR, and/or AED certificates
- AODA Customer Service/IASR Training
