Job Summary

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Clinician. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in evidence-informed practice related to the designated clinical area.
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team to develop and support individualized care plans.
  • Role model direct patient care skills to staff and students, and provide education at the point of care.
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and intervene as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and revise education tools and plans to meet the learning needs of staff and patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care.
  • Assist the Manager/Director in assessing and supporting clinical skill and performance, and provide input and coaching to staff as needed.
Requirements
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Three years of recent related clinical experience in the designated clinical specialty area, including one year of education and/or leadership experience.
  • Completion of post-graduate coursework and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes, as required.
