Plant Operations Team Lead

- Lead a team of Plant Operators to ensure efficient and safe operation of the medical waste treatment facility.
- Oversee the receiving and processing of various biomedical waste streams to meet production targets.
- Ensure the boiler and autoclave functions are maintained to maximize operating efficiency.
- Verify that all waste is properly processed and stored in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage the supply of clean reusable bins and totes for logistics purposes.
- Perform quality control checks on reusable bins and totes.
- Address housekeeping issues promptly, including spills, floor cleanliness, and debris removal.
- Assist in other areas of the plant operation as directed by the Plant Supervisor.
- Job stability as an essential service to healthcare, with consistent work hours and overtime opportunities.
- Competitive hourly rate of $21.
- Full-time permanent role with benefits and RRSP program.
