We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Room Attendant to join our team at Prestige Kamloops Hotel. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
- Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and handle heavy loads. Physically demanding tasks include bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Will train.
- Work Term: Seasonal.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
