Position Overview

As an Inventory Management Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory processes. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations into inventory discrepancies and provide detailed reports on findings.
  • Maintain a systematic and organized filing system for all inventory records.
  • Engage with clients promptly, addressing their inquiries and relaying feedback to management.
  • Act as a liaison between the warehouse and clients to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Verify inventory counts against automated records to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify and report any variances to management for further action.
  • Schedule and perform regular cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Conduct audits of orders and receipts, including location checks, to uphold the Warehouse Management System's accuracy.
  • Coordinate and participate in all scheduled physical inventories as required.
  • Assist management in optimizing space utilization and availability within the warehouse.
  • Process damaged inventory in accordance with month-end procedures.
  • Provide daily communication with clients, delivering necessary reports and updates.

Required Experience

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in inventory coordination, preferably within a warehouse setting.
  • At least two years of hands-on experience with Inventory Control utilizing a Warehouse Management System.
  • Experience with clamp equipment is considered an asset.

Educational Background

  • Completion of secondary education is preferred.
