About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Consumer Industrial Markets team at KPMG-Canada. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in servicing the planning needs of our clients, providing analysis, assessment, and quantification of tax-related work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis of various tax issues to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Review corporate and personal tax returns to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Collaborate with clients and other team members to provide exceptional service and support.
  • Prepare, review, and advise on corporate, personal, and trust tax returns.
Requirements
  • Hold a Chartered Financial Examiner (CFE) designation and be in the process of obtaining a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a Public Accounting firm.
  • Be currently enrolled or interested in enrolling in the CPA In-Depth Tax Program.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate dedication and strong work effort, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Show strong team player skills and demonstrated leadership and team building abilities.
  • Have strong time-management abilities and self-motivation.
  • Proven ability to interact with coworkers, management, and clients in a respectful, patient, and understanding manner.
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple priorities and client relationships.
