Overview

At KPMG in Canada, we're seeking a talented Tax Specialist to join our Consumer Industrial Markets team. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tax-related projects, from planning and compliance to research and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis on various tax issues to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Review corporate and personal tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist senior staff members in developing and implementing tax planning strategies for clients.
  • Prepare, review, and advise on corporate, personal, and trust tax returns.
  • Interact with clients and other team members to provide exceptional service and support.
Requirements
  • Hold a Chartered Financial Examiner (CFE) designation or be in the process of obtaining it.
  • Have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Public Accounting firm.
  • Be currently enrolled or interested in enrolling in the CPA In-Depth Tax Program.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and team building skills.
  • Have strong time-management abilities and self-motivation.
  • Be able to interact with colleagues, management, and clients in a respectful, patient, and understanding manner.
