Drafting Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drafting Supervisor to join our team at Quality Drafting Company, LLC. As a key member of our drafting department, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of other drafting personnel, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

• Project Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of drafting personnel to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Estimation and Cost Control: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, and ensure that all expenses are accurately recorded and reported.
• Quality Control: Examine drawings and designs for conformity and errors, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior drafting personnel, and contribute to the development of their skills and knowledge.

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 5 years or more of experience in drafting and design.
• Certifications: Steel detailing certification.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tekla, desktop applications, computer-aided design (CAD), and spreadsheet software.
• Industry Experience: Experience working in the steel industry.
• Specialization: Architecture, drafting, and structural engineering.
• Personal Qualities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, and a team player.
