About the Role
Raytheon Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our logistics team. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and shipping processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detail-oriented and precise material handling tasks, including receiving, verifying, and preparing materials for shipment.
- Distribute materials across all areas of the factory, utilizing knowledge of warehouse layout and inventory management systems.
- Operate a forklift and drive a truck safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to optimize warehouse operations and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure accurate tracking of materials.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with a focus on logistics and supply chain management.
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications, including SAP.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
- Valid forklift and powered industrial vehicle (PIV) license, or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment, with a focus on quality and results-driven performance.
