About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detail-oriented, highly precise material handling tasks to meet production requirements.
• Distribute materials across all areas of the factory, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Handle different objects, boxes, parts, and carts with appropriate lifting equipment, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
• Receive, verify, prepare, and issue all materials, including receiving and shipping.
• Pack and prepare materials for shipments, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Work with computer systems and applications to track inventory, manage orders, and optimize logistics processes.
• Conduct regular inventories to ensure accurate stock levels and identify areas for improvement.
• Complete and update paperwork, maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Operate a forklift and drive a truck, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Fulfill ongoing training requirements to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and company procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and expectations.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of using a computer in the Windows environment.
• Ability to work well in a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and management.
• Clear Criminal Background Check and Favorable Credit Check.
