Neurotherapeutics Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at McLean Hospital, a world leader in the treatment of mental illness and chemical dependency. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients receiving ECT/TMS/Ketamine treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide immediate and long-term nursing care needs of patients receiving ECT/TMS/Ketamine treatments
- Work within the treatment team to provide pre-treatment assessment, treatment monitoring, and post-anesthesia recovery management
- Use multiple data sources to determine actual/potential health issues, functional status, and safety concerns
- Communicate patient condition and need for altered care with the treatment team
- Establish a therapeutic alliance with assigned patients and initiate and continue pulse oximetry, oxygen saturation, and EKG monitoring throughout treatment and recovery
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
- No experience required, one year medical/psychiatric experience preferred
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic computer skills to use electronic or online systems for communication, clinical, and administrative purposes
