Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Kaipings Restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Table Setting and Maintenance: Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and load buspans and trays.
  • Inventory and Supply Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders, provide excellent customer service, and handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, ability to multitask, initiative, dependability, and a positive attitude.
