The Grounds Maintenance Worker plays a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor spaces. This position involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the upkeep of landscapes and gardens.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience is preferred.
- Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to promote healthy growth.
- Cut grass and maintain lawns to ensure a neat appearance.
- Remove litter and garbage to keep outdoor areas clean.
- Prepare and submit daily basic progress reports to track maintenance activities.
- Water and care for plants, lawns, and gardens to support their vitality.
- Operate and maintain various landscape maintenance equipment effectively.
- Experience with small engine equipment.
- Proficient in using weed trimmers and edgers.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
- Physical capability to bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
- Job Type: Permanent position.
- Language of Work: English.
- Working Hours: 40 hours per week.
