Role OverviewWe are seeking a Solutions Architect to join our Smart Collaboration Product Development team. This role focuses on the development of Unified Communication products, such as meeting room cameras, audio devices, and smart displays, in collaboration with both internal and external partners.
The Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of audio and video systems by engaging with key software and hardware partners, including Microsoft, Zoom, Google, Intel, and Qualcomm.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with clients to assess their audio-visual requirements and identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with and influence software partners to design next-generation video and audio systems.
- Architect meeting room audio and video systems, including control and network components.
- Develop comprehensive specifications and design documents for audio-visual systems.
- Lead prototype development with vendors and conduct feasibility assessments as needed.
- Influence audio and video feature roadmaps through collaboration with marketing and business teams.
- Engage with top customers and partners to gather feedback on future concepts and enhance confidence in Lenovo's offerings.
- Marketing and Program Management teams in the United States.
- External partners such as Microsoft, Zoom, Google, Intel, and Qualcomm.
- Top customer accounts and channel partners, serving as a representative in advisory councils.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in developing and architecting unified communication products or similar technologies.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with major software and hardware partners.
- Expertise in designing and developing audio-visual systems, particularly for meeting environments.
- In-depth understanding of unified communication technologies and protocols.
- Proficiency in AV system design, including video and audio components, control systems, and network integration.
- Experience with prototype development and feasibility assessments.
- Knowledge of system specifications and design principles for audio-visual solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to creatively influence and contribute to the audio and video feature roadmap.
- Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to lead technical discussions.
- Familiarity with current and emerging unified communication products and trends.
- Ability to work in a global environment and manage interactions across diverse time zones and cultures.
- Excellent organizational skills and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This position will be based in our North America Headquarters. Our office supports a hybrid work environment.
