About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpentry Assistant to join our team at J. Coggar Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist carpenters and construction teams with various tasks, including preparation of work sites, material handling, and equipment operation.
  • Perform manual labor tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Operate power tools and equipment, such as saws, drills, and sanders, under the supervision of experienced carpenters.
  • Participate in quality control checks to ensure that work meets company standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Reliability, team player, and hardworking attitude.
Work Environment

As a Carpentry Assistant with J. Coggar Construction Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality. You will be required to work at various locations, including construction sites, and may be required to travel to different job sites.
