About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Specialist to join our team at J. Coggar Construction Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction and repair of buildings, structures, and other fixtures
  • Operate power tools and equipment, such as saws, drills, and sanders
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials to exact specifications
  • Install and finish flooring, walls, and ceilings
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
Work Environment

As a Carpentry Specialist with J. Coggar Construction Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights and outdoors. You will be required to work in various locations, including commercial, residential, and agricultural sites.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
