Motel Managing Supervisor

About the Role
The Highlander Inn is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Motel Managing Supervisor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our motel's day-to-day operations, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assign work tasks to clerks and other employees
- Establish work schedules and procedures, and coordinate activities with other departments
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and motel policies
- Assist guests with special needs and ensure their satisfaction
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed
- Requisition materials and supplies, and resolve work-related issues
- Prepare and submit progress reports
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Superior organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Mature attitude, professional, and strong work ethic
- Dependability and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects with multiple individuals
- Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
