Overview of the Role

Fuller Group LTD. O/A A&W Restaurant is seeking to hire dedicated Culinary Service Supervisors for a permanent, full-time role. This position is essential for maintaining our high standards in food service and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

The Culinary Service Supervisor will report directly to Senior Management and will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and coordinating the tasks and activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Monitoring production, quality, and distribution objectives to ensure they are consistently met or surpassed.
  • Ensuring all kitchen equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
  • Providing coaching and mentorship to employees to enhance their job performance.
  • Training new team members on their responsibilities and all relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Enforcing adherence to health and safety regulations among all staff members.
  • Managing staff work schedules and keeping detailed records of these schedules.
  • Supervising the assembly of food trays.
  • Addressing and resolving customer complaints effectively.
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, procurement, and receiving.
  • Estimating and ordering necessary ingredients and supplies.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Experience in food preparation or customer service, which is advantageous.
  • Prior supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.
  • Strong oral communication skills in English.

Compensation and Benefits

The wage for this position ranges from $15.30 to $16.00 per hour, with a standard workweek of 40 hours. Overtime pay is applicable after 40 hours of work each week. Additional benefits include overtime pay, holiday pay, and dental and extended medical insurance after one year of service.
