About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at 2641426 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Logistics Management: Oversee the operational logistics of our organization, including planning, organizing, and executing logistics operations.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports on logistics operations, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with warehouse and production units to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in logistics duties and policies, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Dispatch and Scheduling: Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in mapping and data visualization software, word processing software, electronic mail, spreadsheet, and inventory control software.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional standing for extended periods.
