Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at 2641426 Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials between departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize operational logistics, including tracking and completing work orders
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration
  • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments, maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Prepare and submit reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies, ensuring compliance with company procedures
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks
  • Follow-up on issues with work orders, resolving problems and providing technical advice
  • Keep track of shipments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail
