Role Summary: Provincial Red Seal Licensed Industrial Maintenance Millwright

In this role, you will be an integral part of the maintenance team within our safe and well-maintained manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose issues with plant machinery and establish maintenance needs, focusing on identifying root causes and implementing effective long-term solutions.
  • Respond to equipment failures and determine whether temporary or permanent fixes are necessary based on production timelines.
  • Uphold preventative maintenance schedules and conduct regular inspections and lubrication of all machinery.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and occasionally participate in fabrication tasks.
  • Understand the specifications required for various mechanical services, including antifriction bearings, and ensure proper fittings are made.
  • Operate heavy machinery safely and effectively.
  • Execute any mechanical repairs as directed by the Reliability Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Coordinator.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Provincial Red Seal Certification as an Industrial Millwright.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed Industrial Millwright.
  • Strong technical knowledge in the field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
  • Availability to work on a shift basis.
