Role Overview: Head of Technical ProductionThe Head of Technical Production will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality technical and event expertise throughout the entire production process, from concept to execution. This position involves overseeing a team of technicians responsible for the setup, operation, and dismantling of audio-visual equipment necessary for events of varying scales and complexities.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to define event objectives and refine proposals.
- Create detailed event specifications and designs based on client needs while ensuring budget adherence.
- Develop and manage comprehensive event schedules, estimating labor, equipment, and transportation needs.
- Participate in client meetings and briefings as necessary.
- Ensure financial accountability and integrity throughout the event process.
- Provide technical guidance to the sales team and assist with pricing estimates as needed.
- Support the sales team with accurate cost estimates and verify outgoing estimates daily regarding specifications and equipment availability.
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role.
- Background in corporate event production.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of audio-visual equipment and rental processes.
- Exceptional planning, organizational, time management, and account management skills.
