Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Product to join our team. The Head of Product will be responsible for leading the product strategy, development, and execution to drive the growth and success of the Free Agent platform. This role requires a deep understanding of our target market, a passion for helping athletes transition to corporate careers, and the ability to innovate and enhance our product offerings to meet the evolving needs of our users.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with Free Agent’s mission and business objectives.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, user feedback, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and inform product development.
  • Product Development: Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centric features and enhancements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and customer support, to drive product initiatives and ensure alignment across the organization.
  • User Experience: Champion user experience and advocate for user needs throughout the product development process, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for athletes and corporate partners.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics to make informed product decisions, track key performance metrics, and iterate on features to improve user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor the product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate product plans, progress, and performance to stakeholders, including executives, investors, and customers.



Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of product management experience, with a proven track record of leading successful product initiatives in the SaaS industry. Experience in career development, networking, or staffing platforms is a plus.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive results.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform product decisions and measure success.
  • User-Centric Mindset: Deep empathy for users and a passion for creating products that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Understanding of software development processes and experience working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
