Environmental Geologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Geological Technician to join our team at Waterline Resources Inc. as a key member of our environmental services group.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct environmental audits and assessments to identify potential environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Design and implement measures to minimize the environmental impact of mining and oil and gas operations.
- Perform technical analyses of survey and field data to develop topographic, soil, hydrological, and other information.
- Develop and implement procedures for cleaning up contaminated sites and conducting site remediation.
- Collaborate with our team to conduct research and develop new technologies to improve our environmental services.
- College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field, such as geology, environmental science, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the mining or oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of geological and geochemical principles, as well as experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
