Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Inder's Your Independent Grocer. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Lead and manage a team of grocery clerks and shelf stockers to ensure efficient store operations and excellent customer service.
  • Exhibit Design and Display: Collaborate with exhibit designers to plan and develop permanent and temporary exhibits and displays for our store.
  • Merchandise Management: Order and authorize the return of merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels and optimal stock levels.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
