Meat Processing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Meat Processing Specialist to join our team at Palma Pasta Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient processing of meat products.
Key Responsibilities- Food Safety and Handling: Maintain a high level of awareness and adherence to food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
- Machine Operation: Operate and maintain mixing and grinding machines, as well as feed and unload processing machines, to meet production requirements.
- Packing and Packaging: Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, ensuring accurate and efficient packaging.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular checks on products and packaging for basic quality defects, and report any issues to management.
- Team Collaboration: Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
As a Meat Processing Specialist at Palma Pasta Corporation, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Work Term: Permanent.
