Recreation Attendant Opportunity

About the Role:

The City of Delta is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Recreation team as Recreation Attendants. As a Recreation Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to the public, handling ice skates and equipment, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to a diverse range of customers, including children and adults.
  • Operate a skate sharpener and maintain inventory in the skate shop.
  • Supervise public skating sessions and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all users.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
