Job Summary:

The City of Delta is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Recreation team as a Recreation Attendant 2. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, and supporting the delivery of recreational programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control access to facilities and enforce established policies and regulations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to diverse age groups, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform routine janitorial and maintenance tasks to ensure facilities are clean and well-maintained.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Physical ability to perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, as well as lift and move equipment as required.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
